I offer review of medical and legal documents in injury cases, including medical malpractice cases in particular. For prospective clients, I conduct such reviews at no charge. Usually I will ask the client to provide whatever medical records are necessary. For attorneys requesting evaluation of their own clients' or prospective clients' cases, I have two methods of review available.

Case reviews can often be finished on the same day that the records are received.

For simple matters,an attorney may call me and describe the case facts on the phone. I will offer my opinion based on the facts as described and the charge will be $100.00. If I am unable to offer any useful opinion, I will make no charge.

An attorney may also provide me with a case record, including medical records. I will provide an opinion (either written or verbal) for a charge of $200/hour. There is a one-hour minimum. When the case record is less than one inch thick, I can usually review it and provide a verbal opinion within one hour.

For more complex cases in which I will not be expected to testify, but am a consultant only, I will arrange participation on the basis of either contingency fee apportionment or on the basis of a fee that is at a higher rate but only is collected after the case is successfully concluded.
